Adjuster Advantage Terms and Privacy Notice
Adjuster Advantage is operated by Homeland Public Adjusters Corporation. Effective October 9, 2026. These terms are also available in Spanish as a translation; if the two versions differ, the English version controls.
Part 1. Terms of Membership
1. Who we are and this agreement
Adjuster Advantage ("Adjuster Advantage," "we," "us") is a free membership program offered by Homeland Public Adjusters Corporation ("Homeland"), 8004 NW 154th Street, Suite 609, Miami Lakes, FL 33016-5814. These Terms of Membership ("Terms") and the Privacy Notice in Part 2 govern your use of the Adjuster Advantage website, the Adjuster Advantage app for iPhone and Android, and related emails (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to create an account. The Service is offered to residents of the United States. You must give accurate information when you sign up, including your ZIP code, and keep it current.
3. Free membership; no contract with Homeland for any claim
Membership is free. There is no fee to join and no fee to use the tools available to you.
Joining Adjuster Advantage is free and does not create a contract or agreement with Homeland Public Adjusters for any claim. Hiring Homeland is optional and requires a separate written agreement.
Adjuster Advantage is not insurance. It does not change your insurance policy, your coverage or your premium. It does not represent you in any claim. Representation on a claim is available only in states where Homeland is licensed, and only under a separate written agreement that you choose to sign.
4. Availability by state
The features available to you depend on the state where your property is located, based on the ZIP code and address you provide.
| Where your property is | What your membership includes |
|---|---|
| Florida and New Jersey, where Homeland is licensed | All tools and benefits, including Safety Vault, Policy Scan, 90DAY XPlus, Prep Alert, Prep Kit, Lifeline Card, Certificate Pack, Renewal Radar, Coverage Talk, Ask Advantage, Damage Guide, Emergency Now, Flood Lens, Home Inventory, Home Maintenance, Share a Folder, Resources, the Readiness Check and the Homeland call line |
| All other states | Resources, the Readiness Check, Flood Lens and Where to Get Help. We collect only your contact details, ZIP code, how you heard about us and any referral code. |
Adjuster services are offered only where Homeland Public Adjusters is licensed (currently Florida and New Jersey) and are not available where prohibited by law. We may change which features are offered in a state, including when laws change or when Homeland becomes licensed in a new state.
5. Our tools are informational only
Every tool in the Service is for general information and organization. Nothing in the Service is legal advice, insurance advice, medical advice, safety advice, a coverage opinion or a coverage determination. Your insurance policy and your insurer decide what is covered.
- Policy Scan. Policy Scan is an automated, AI-assisted summary of a document you upload. It can contain errors or miss terms, endorsements or exclusions. It is not a review of your policy by Homeland or by any public adjuster. Read your full policy, and ask your agent or another licensed professional about your situation. Do not rely on a Policy Scan summary to make decisions about coverage, claims or deadlines. Before your first upload, you will be asked to confirm that you understand this.
- Prep Kit and other checklists. Checklists are built from your answers and from public guidance, such as Ready.gov (FEMA), the American Red Cross, the CDC, the USGS and state emergency management agencies. Each item shows its source, and items without an official source are marked as an Adjuster Advantage suggestion. A checklist is a starting point, not a complete emergency plan. Follow your local emergency officials. In an emergency, call 911.
- Flood Lens, Prep Alert and weather information. Flood zone and weather information comes from public sources and may be incomplete, delayed or out of date. Flood Lens is not an official flood zone determination. Prep Alert is not an official warning service.
- Where to Get Help. State summaries reflect the laws we could find as of the date shown and may have changed. They are general information, not legal advice. We do not endorse any adjuster, lawyer or association listed.
Adjuster Advantage and Homeland are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, FEMA, the American Red Cross, the CDC, the USGS, any government agency, or any other source we cite. We do not guarantee your safety or the outcome of any loss or claim. You are responsible for your own decisions.
6. Your account and your content
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. Tell us right away at privacy@homelandpa.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You keep ownership of the photos, documents and other content you add ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process and display Your Content only to run the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Notice. Only add content you have the right to share.
If you create a share link for a folder in your Safety Vault, anyone who has the link can view and download what is in that folder until the link expires or you turn it off. You decide who gets the link and are responsible for sending it only to people you trust. Insurance policies and Policy Scan reports cannot be shared this way.
7. Emails and other messages
By creating an account, you agree to receive emails about your membership and marketing emails from Adjuster Advantage and Homeland. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. You will still receive account and service messages while your account is open.
If your property is outside Florida and New Jersey, our emails will cover your membership, preparedness and the tools available to you. They will not offer adjuster services.
We will not send you marketing text messages or automated marketing calls unless you give separate consent for them.
8. Referral and invite codes
A referral or invite code tells us who introduced you and which Homeland professional is connected to your membership. Codes are for attribution only. No one is paid or rewarded for referring you, and a code never affects the cost of the Service, which is free.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not upload content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to share, try to access another member's account or data, interfere with the Service or its security, copy or resell the Service, or use automated tools to collect information from it.
We may remove content from the Service that breaks these Terms or that we reasonably believe is improper. When we do, we will let you know.
10. Cancellation
You can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@homelandpa.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. After cancellation, we delete your information as described in Part 2, Section 6.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
To the extent allowed by law, Homeland and its owners, employees and licensed professionals are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information and tools in the Service. Some states do not allow certain limits on liability, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
12. Governing law and where disputes are heard
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these Terms or the Service will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

| Device and usage information (app version, device type, log data) | Yes | Yes |
We collect this information from you when you sign up and use the Service, and automatically from your device when you use the app or website.
Profile photo (optional). If you choose to add a profile photo, we keep it in private storage. Only you and authorized Homeland Public Adjusters staff can see it. We use it only to recognize you within Adjuster Advantage. We never use it for advertising and never share it outside Homeland. You can change or remove it at any time from your member home, and when you remove it, we delete it.
Lifeline Card emergency contacts (optional). If you add emergency contacts, we keep them so they appear on your Lifeline Card and so authorized Homeland staff can see them. Add a person only if they agree to be listed. We never contact them for marketing. You can change or remove them at any time.
2. How we use your information
- To create and run your membership and show you the tools available in your state.
- To store and organize the documents and photos you add, and to produce summaries and checklists you ask for.
- To send renewal reminders, weather alerts and other messages you have turned on.
- To send membership and marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To connect your membership with the Homeland professional named by your referral code, in Florida and New Jersey only.
- To keep the Service secure, fix problems and improve it, including reading the ratings and suggestions you choose to send us through Feedback. Feedback stays inside Homeland.
- To comply with the law.
3. Sensitive information
Some information, such as whether someone in your household needs medication or mobility help, or information about children in your household, may be considered sensitive under some state laws. We ask for it only to build your checklist, only with your separate consent, and you can skip those questions. You can delete those answers at any time.
4. Your insurance policies, certificates and our AI provider
When you upload an insurance policy, we process it with a third-party artificial intelligence service provider to create summaries for you and for the Homeland staff who serve you. This happens automatically each time you upload a policy, whether or not you use Policy Scan. Policy Scan is the summary written for you; Homeland staff use a separate internal summary that you do not see. When you add a new policy that replaces an older one, Renewal Radar uses details read from both policies (such as limits, deductibles and premium) to show you what changed. The provider processes your documents on our behalf, under contract terms that limit its use of your information. We do not let the provider use your documents to sell or advertise to you. When you ask a question in Ask Advantage, the same provider reads your uploaded policy to answer it, and we keep your questions and answers in your account. When you upload an inspection certificate (such as a wind mitigation, 4-point or roof certificate), the same provider may read basic details from it, such as the type of certificate, the inspection date and any expiration date printed on it, to fill in your Certificate Pack and send your reminders. You can delete an uploaded document and its summaries at any time.
Our AI provider is Anthropic, PBC (the maker of Claude). Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use the documents and questions we send it to train its models, and it deletes them from its systems within 30 days, except when it must keep them longer to enforce its usage policies, under a separate agreement, or as required by law.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with outside companies for their own marketing.
We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the Service, such as hosting, data storage, email delivery and our AI provider. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- Within Homeland: with authorized Homeland staff and across Homeland Public Adjusters' own apps, programs and services (for example, Adjuster Advantage and our claims system), so we can serve you. In Florida and New Jersey, this includes the Homeland professional connected to your membership, as you agree when you sign up.
- Changes made for you: if you ask, authorized Homeland staff may update information in your account for you (for example, fixing a phone number or removing a file). Every change is recorded with who made it, when and what changed, and you receive a note in your Messages listing what was updated. Staff never change your password or sign-in settings, give consents for you, or send messages in your name.
- With people you choose: when you create a share link for a folder, the people you send it to can see what is in that folder until the link expires or you turn it off. Each time the link or a file is opened, we record the date and time, the type of browser, and a scrambled code made from the internet address (not the address itself), and we show you how often your link was opened.
- Videos and live weather: if you play a video in the app (such as a National Hurricane Center update), it is shown by YouTube, which may collect information under its own privacy policy. If you play a satellite loop, it loads from NOAA, a U.S. government agency. Weather radar and maps load through our own servers.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid court order, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our members, Homeland or others.
- If Homeland is involved in a merger, sale or similar transaction, in which case this Privacy Notice continues to apply to your information.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your membership is active. You can cancel your membership and download a copy of your information at any time from My profile. When you cancel, or when you ask us to delete your information, we delete it within 90 days, except records we must keep by law.
7. Security and data breaches
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by the laws of your state.
8. Your rights and how to make a request
Depending on your state, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Opt out of the sale of your information, or of targeted advertising. We do not sell your information.
- Withdraw consent you gave for sensitive information.
- Appeal if we decline your request.
To make a request, email privacy@homelandpa.com from the email address on your account. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time required by the law of your state. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
9. Members must be 18 or older
The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Household answers about children in Prep Kit are counts only, such as the number of children, never names or birth dates.
10. Your email choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time with the link in any marketing email. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Account and service messages continue while your account is open.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Notice. If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
Questions or requests: privacy@homelandpa.com, or by mail to Homeland Public Adjusters Corporation, 8004 NW 154th Street, Suite 609, Miami Lakes, FL 33016-5814.
